The 250th celebration committee of adams
Our History
Our committee was formed in September 2025 by Joseph Nowak, a selectperson for the Town of Adams, to recognize our country's semiquincentennial or 250 year anniversary. He particularly hoped to highlight how residents of East Hoosuck contributed to the Revolutionary War effort.
Our purpose
To provide educational and entertaining events which promote an understanding of life in North Berkshire County and Massachusetts during the American Revolution. We are collaborating with the towns of Cheshire, Clarksburg, Florida, the city of North Adams, our schools, and local businesses from spring of 2026 until the fall of 2027.
